The Project
A rooftop garden that holds its own against the view.
High above the boulevard, this terrace had the panorama and nothing else — hard light, steady wind, and planters that had never been asked to do more than survive. The brief was to make the roofline feel like a destination of its own.
We built the planting around yellow floribunda roses that bloom nearly year-round in the exposure, grounded by silver, drought-fluent companions that soften the railing line without ever blocking the skyline. Every container is engineered for the roof: lightweight soil profiles, wind-firm staking, and drip irrigation tucked out of sight.
The result reads effortless — guests drift toward the roses, the city does the rest.
